Our last Local Legends Story of 2016 comes from 2 people you may be a little familiar with; two folks who have already submitted stories separately, but not together...
"Once upon a time, We had an idea for a PEI-based clothing company, and with the love and support of friends and family we were able to turn that idea into a reality in June of 2016.
Throughout 2016, we experienced some amazing highs. We were a part of the Strumbellas becoming Honorary Islanders on the Cavendish stage. We got to tell Matt Rainnie and the rest of PEI our story on CBC Island Morning. We reached so many people at events throughout the year. We were able to tell the stories of Islanders from all walks of life through Local Legends Stories.
As this wild 2016 comes to an end, we wanted to take a few seconds to thank the people that made all of this happen: YOU! Without the constant support all of you have shown this year, we would not be at the point of where we are. We are extremely grateful for everything you've done to support us, from purchasing products, to telling your stories, to every like, comment, share, and retweet you've given us on social media. Because of you, we're going into 2017 with a ton of momentum; we can't wait to turn that momentum into high quality clothing that Islanders and Honorary Islanders young and old will be proud to wear!
From the bottom of our hearts, we'd like to thank you for your constant support this year. Keep an eye on us in 2017, we're gonna make waves on the Mighty Island!"
